Kraków restaurants, cafes and clubs

In Kraków during the day one visits historical monuments and museums. Day long strolls amongst charming streets which remember the glory years are not to be missed. However, is there anything to do in Kraków in the evenings? A slightly different aspect of the city awaits. Kazimierz is the most fashionable and the most vibrant district of Kraków in the evenings, as well as in the daytime. Forgotten until recently, today it is bursting with activity. Singer is a cult bar, where instead of tables you can find old Singer sewing machines. This was the first venue to be established here. At the time of the bar's opening, Kazimierz was associated mainly with cheap wine drinkers and shabby, neglected town houses.  However, the bar quickly became popular. It seems that Kraków and its residents were waiting for such a venue.

Today Alchemia is perhaps the flagship bar in Kazimierz. It affords views of Plac Nowy. The interior is maintained in a rather specific style, but the most important thing is that whilst sitting at a table one can also listen to good jazz. In Baraka club, one can become immersed in a futuristic setting, which in recent years has an ever-growing group of fans. Whereas indie rock fans will be able to enjoy the relatively new B-side club. Le Scandale is a venue known mainly to foreign tourists and visitors from Warsaw. Its attraction lies in the diversity of available drinks and the opportunity to meet people from different corners of the world.

Flower Power is a place that whisks us to the sixties. The smell of incense and water pipes fills the interiors. Those looking for a more idyllic atmosphere, we recommend the Mleczarnia garden in the summer. Kazimierz is also Szeroka street, where Jewish culture is still highly visible. There are so many Jewish restaurants. Those looking for good dumplings should make their way to Pierożki u Vincenta, whereas Kolanko No. 6 serves the best pancakes. Perhaps you'd like to have a coffee in unusual surroundings? Try the Lululiving shop. However, Kraków is not only Kazimierz. To enjoy good food with friends you can go to Cargo or Bistro Hygge with comfortable seats and a modern design or a more atmospheric Piec na Zabłociu. Fashionable clubs such as Klub 89, The Club, Apoteka or Dreams promise a good night out. Wawel Falafel&Hummus, Ka Udon Bar, Tbilisuri or Gogo Burger await those looking for world cuisine.
